Twisted and Knotted: a witchy fiber arts retreat for women

Join Rachel @thereplantedwitch and Kathy @thefiberstudio483 for a one day retreat into the magical world of fiber arts. This gathering is for those who feel called as our female ancestors did to the traditional practices of working with natural fibers. Rachel will start the day with an overview of women’s work with fiber and its association with magic over a steaming herbal brew. We will then learn the basics of knot magic and create our own witches ladders following our intuition. Participants will then break for a prepared plant based lunch. In the afternoon we will discuss natural fibers, receive a lesson in the basics of weaving and spend the afternoon in community working on a guided project with Kathy.

This is scheduled for January 10th, 2027. More details to come. We will be meeting at The Fiber Studio inside of The Spring Street Studios, 483 Spring Street, Windsor Locks, CT from 9-4pm.
